The Golden Age of wisdom and knowledge is ongoing. The Caliph summoned the brightest minds to acquire scientific manuscripts from the known world. Your task is to hire skilled translators to translate foreign scrolls into Arabic and make progress in 6 scientific disciplines.

Colors
The game features dice in 6 colors: 3 primary—yellow, red, blue—and 3 derived—green, orange, purple. Each color represents one of six research fields.
Color mixing
Playing dice and/or workers simultaneously in different colors produces new colors and values. For example, red die and yellow worker played together yield an orange die result.
Actions
On your turn, play one of your cards (deciding passive income) into an action slot and add dice and possibly workers modifying dice color and/or values.
Languages
Your goal is to translate manuscripts from Chinese, Greek, Persian, Hebrew, Syriac, and Sanskrit into Arabic. You use translators—your own or others’.
Translators
Each translator specializes in specific languages. When translating a manuscript, you can use several translators at once, gradually moving from the source language to Arabic.
Scrolls
You decide what to score each game. Manuscripts you translate during play give you individual scoring options at the end.
Research
Make progress on 6 scientific discipline tracks: mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, and philosophy. Each track offers different one-time bonuses and passive income.
3 Guilds
Increase influence in Guilds to gain Caliph’s rewards appearing multiple times during the game, marking game time, and to score for control after the game ends.
