Birth of the Cosmos is a strategic board game on a truly cosmic scale. During gameplay, we become world creators forming our own galaxies. Each player tries to acquire resources necessary to realize their extraterrestrial masterpiece. Smart planning and clever resource management will help achieve cosmic perfection, score the most points, and leave a lasting mark on the universe.
How does it work?
Gameplay is divided into rounds, during which players take turns.
A player’s turn includes two phases: energy and building.
To gain resources in the energy phase, move markers between regulation areas on the main board. You can only manipulate your own marker and neutral ones, with certain restrictions. The resources you get depend on your final position (plus passive constant rewards).
Gathered resources are spent in the building phase. Use them to create nebulae, acquire stars and transform them into supernovae, and ensure proto-life develops steadily. Besides the resource pool, ability cards help world creators work more efficiently.
Players compete for general goals that move and grant points as rounds progress. The winner is the player with the most points at the end!
