Flashing red LED diode
An LED (light-emitting diode) is a semiconductor optoelectronic device emitting visible, infrared, or ultraviolet light. In our dummy, it is used to increase the effectiveness of the dummy itself. The flashing LED element attracts attention by catching the eye. This solution is fully effective at night or in dark rooms.
Housing material: ABS
ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) is an amorphous plastic with density 1.05 g/cm³, high impact resistance, hardness, and scratch resistance. This material ensures great scratch resistance and suitability for outdoor use, where the dummy is exposed to weather conditions.
IR diode imitation
Infrared radiation (IR) is electromagnetic radiation between visible light and radio waves, ranging from 780 nm to 1 mm. IR is used in night vision. IR diode light is used at night and in dark rooms, enabling cameras to record images in difficult lighting conditions. Our dummy features identical imitations of real IR diodes.
Built-in solar panel
A solar cell converts sunlight into electrical energy via the photovoltaic effect using a p-n semiconductor junction. In our dummy, the solar panel serves two roles: charging batteries if installed and powering the LED if sufficient light is available.

What is a camera dummy for?
Camera dummies are preventive devices used to deter intruders and potential thieves. They look like real cameras but do not generate or transmit images. In places where installing CCTV systems is uneconomical, camera dummies are an excellent solution (studies show that the mere presence of a dummy camera can effectively deter thieves).
The most effective dummies feature a red LED (making them more visible, especially at night, in basements, garages, warehouses). Our dummy additionally has a solar panel powering the LED and charging batteries, ensuring nighttime operation. This practical solution eliminates battery replacement concerns.
