Preparation:
Scan QR code, download Smart Life and install on your phone. You can also download Smart Life from App Store or Google Play.
Make sure your phone is connected to home Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz).
Plug the Wi-Fi Smart power strip into an electrical outlet. The blue LED flashes. If it does not flash, press the “On” button for about 5 seconds to restore factory settings.
Adding devices to Smart Life app
Open Smart Life app, click “+” in the top right corner, and select “Power Strip” in the “Electrical” category.
Follow on-screen instructions. NOTE: Enable Bluetooth on your phone and only 2.4 GHz network on the router. For login, 5 GHz network must be enabled.
After successful device setup, go to device control, click pencil icon in the top right corner, and assign any name to the device.
Then you can press any switch and configure it according to your needs. The app offers several configuration options, e.g.:
Countdown: set desired time after which the selected socket should turn on
Schedule: create a weekly schedule for turning the selected socket on and off
Random: create a random on/off time for selected days
How to use Amazon Echo to control smart devices:
Open Amazon Alexa app, find “Skill” button in the menu and press it.
Search for Smart Life app and activate it.
Select country code, enter account and password for “Smart Life App,” then press “Link now.” After successful login, press “Done.”
Return to menu and press “Smart Home,” then select “Devices” and press “Discover.”
Now you can use Alexa to control your smart devices.
