Skill Game Escaping Carrots
The jumping carrots skill game is a wonderful game for the whole family.
Game rules:
Pull the wall back and hold it.
Secure it by placing the medium-sized round carrot (blue) in the indentation.
Now you can slowly release the wall:
– randomly arrange the remaining carrots on the board
– remove the blue carrot and also place it on the board
– gently release the wall so it rests on all the carrots.
Game Mode 1
– score as many points as possible:
– the youngest player starts the game
– in each turn, players remove one carrot
– if a carrot is touched by a player, they must remove it (they may also skip their turn)
– you cannot choose another carrot once a choice is made
– if the player removes a carrot and the wall does not cross the mark on the side of the board, they can keep their prize
– if the wall crosses the mark, the player must set aside the removed carrot (also any carrots that fell off during the move). Additionally, the player receives a 3-point penalty. If they do not have enough points, they lose everything.
– turns can be skipped
– if a turn is skipped twice in a row, the player must make a move on the third time
– the game ends when the number of carrots on the board equals the number of players, e.g., 4 players means the game ends when 4 carrots remain
– count the collected carrots and convert them to points. The player with the most points wins!
Carrot points:
Orange carrot – 3 pts x 15
Blue carrot – 2 pts x 15
Green carrot – 1 pt x 15
Game Mode 2
– unlock the trap by removing carrots in the correct order:
– each player randomly selects a card [6 in the set]
– the youngest player starts
– players remove carrots in the order indicated by their card
– if a carrot is touched by a player, they must remove it (may skip turn). Cannot choose another carrot.
– removed carrots are placed on the card
– carrots not removed in the correct order are placed beside the card
– if the wall crosses the side mark, the player must set aside the removed carrot (and any carrots that fell off). The player must also set aside all carrots on the card and start collecting anew
– turns can be skipped
– if a turn is skipped twice in a row, the player must move on the third time
– the first player to fill their card “unlocks the trap” and wins!
