The Marder III tank destroyer fought on many WWII fronts. Until the introduction of 88 mm guns, it was a very formidable anti-tank weapon. The Sd.Kfz. 139 design was based on the Panzer 38(t) chassis. Its main armament was a modified Soviet gun adapted to German shells—the 7.62 cm PaK 36(r). The MARDER III set, including the basic German 5cm Pak 38 gun, is developed in 1:35 scale to fit figures and consists of 486 construction blocks. No stickers are used; only high-quality durable prints. Model features include working tracked traction, rotating wheels, a figure compartment, and a movable gun. The set also includes a historically inspired road sign with the name El Alamein, near which two key battles of the African campaign took place. Figures depict a German mechanic and artilleryman.
