The worm gear clamp is made of steel tape 9mm wide coated with a galvanic layer (aluminum-zinc). It is used to secure flexible rubber, PVC, and other round-shaped hoses on inlet or outlet connectors, etc. The tape has rounded edges protecting the hose from damage. The clamp screw has a hex head with a flat or cross recess. Asymmetric embossed teeth on the tape combined with the screw ensure the clamp turns in the direction of the tightening torque.
