Scientific excavation set – velociraptor

DID YOU KNOW that the name Velociraptor means “swift robber” or “swift plunderer”? The name originates from the dinosaur’s ability to chase its prey very quickly. Velociraptor belonged to the family of bird-like dinosaurs called Dromaeosauridae. Other members include Deinonychus and Dromaeosaurus. Unlike other dromaeosaurs, Velociraptor had a long, low skull with a very flat, upturned snout. Its jaws contained 60 to 80 razor-sharp teeth. Look inside for more fascinating facts. CONTENT: The set includes a plaster block hiding dinosaur bones and excavation tools. After finding and cleaning all bones, you can assemble the full skeleton.
