Imperium Romanum Blocks – Catapult 173 pieces
The Onager is a type of catapult with ancient origins. It was also widespread in the Middle Ages. The Romans previously called this machine tormentum or scorpio. The catapult, standing on two sledges, hurled stone projectiles, flaming charges, and other objects meant to terrify the enemy (snakes, filth, severed heads, etc.) using a long arm with a spoon. In the block model, instead of tangled ropes, we used a rubber band to tension the arm! Thanks to this solution, you can quickly and safely start your own siege and launch block projectiles!

The set includes a Roman legionary equipped with a helmet (galea), armor (lorica segmentata), shield (scutum), and spear (pilum). A special block extending the tunic features prints of hanging straps (baltea). You can place the catapult on the included block base simulating a terrain fragment.

We assure you that thanks to the clever mechanism, playing with the catapult is great fun!

Missing personnel to operate the onager? Want to build a scene or diorama? Dreaming of a larger battlefield? Nothing simpler! In the Imperium Romanum collection, you will find Roman legionary figures just waiting to be recruited into your victorious army! Build history, block by block!
