The RDZ-211 is a splitter/summer designed for use in collective and individual RTV antenna installations. Its task is to split or combine two antenna signals. It can be mounted in a splash-proof ABS enclosure, allowing outdoor placement, e.g., on an antenna mast. Proper installation and connection are crucial for correct operation. The device is suitable when the signal level is high enough that splitting and the resulting 4 dB level reduction do not cause the final subscriber socket level to fall below 51 dBuV (minimum per PN-EN 60728-1 standard).
Recommended especially where a “star” installation with cables from all sockets to one housing is not feasible, e.g., when antenna cables must be routed directly on the building facade from the mast.
