Pyrometer Temperature Estimation Device C50-400 F58-752

NEO temperature estimation device (pyrometer) (ref. no. 75-275) is used to measure surface temperature of objects with an accuracy of +/- 1.5% + 1.5 °C in the range -50 to 400 °C. It can be used to estimate the temperature of various hot, dangerous, or hard-to-reach objects without contact. The device consists of optics, a temperature sensor, a signal amplifier, processing circuit, and LCD display. The optics collect infrared energy emitted by the object and focus it on the sensor. The sensor converts energy into an electrical signal, which is displayed as a digital reading. The device operates contactlessly. Measurement is in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees, displayed on a color LCD screen. The pyrometer is powered by two AAA batteries. The device is not a medical product.
