The history of the Polonez begins at the end of 1972. The introduction of a successor to the 125p model was planned. In 1974, an agreement was signed between Pol-Mot and the Italian FIAT corporation entrusting the design work to the Italian side. In the same year, design work began at Fiat’s Centro Stile. The first prototypes of the car designated 125PN (Polacco Nuova – Polish New) were created in 1975. The name was chosen through a poll of Życie Warszawy readers in 1978. The new hatchback body featured a modern aesthetic and a considerable level of safety for that time. FSO license. Die-cast metal model with plastic elements, scale 1:43. Product complies with European toy safety standards. Age qualification: 3+.
