Drakkar was the largest type of ship used by Vikings (langskip).
These vessels could reach up to 45 meters in length and had up to 34 pairs of oars, though more commonly drakkars were built between about 20 to 35 meters long.
Drakkars were ocean-going vessels, allowing free sailing on the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
