Put the cover on the steering wheel so that the leather seam is at the bottom and center of the wheel. Sew the cover from arm to arm, first measuring the appropriate length of the included thread. It should be about twice the length of the section to be sewn, i.e., from arm to arm. 2. Start at the arm, inserting the needle from the inside of the leather. 3. Sew the steering wheel by threading the thread through every other stitch, making S-shaped movements. Remember to catch only the thread, not piercing the leather. 4. Pull the thread so that the leather edge joins nicely.
