This 72-ton giant, armed with a 12.8 cm Pak 44 L/55 gun, could destroy any enemy armored vehicle from great distances, becoming a true nightmare for the Allies.
Although extremely powerful, its weight and mobility issues meant it rarely appeared on the battlefield. Only about 80 Jagdtiger units were produced, and only two German battalions used these machines. Most were lost due to mechanical failures or abandonment by crews.
