The Close Encounters expansion introduces new elements to the base game, focusing on the daily challenges of life in the settlement known from Pagan: The Mystery of Roanoke.
The presence of the Hunter casts a shadow over Roanoke, causing increasing fear among the inhabitants, who often end up in shackles. Small favors here, discreet hints there – the community begins to look more kindly upon the Witch, and the Hunter’s efforts often backfire.
