Game No, Thank You
Sometimes we all get up on the wrong side of the bed and have bad luck all day, right? That’s what happened to the poor guy who inspired this game. After a nightmare-filled night, he saw a spider sitting on his pillow. While driving, he noticed his own rear wheel overtaking him, and he began to suspect it wouldn’t be a good day…

No, Thank You is a simple and exciting card game where you try to avoid misfortunes at all costs by wisely managing limited token resources. Stay alert when you see a card on the table depicting a situation you want to avoid. You can spend a token to avoid misfortune or grit your teeth and place the card in front of you. Collected misfortunes give negative points, and saved tokens give positive points. The winner is the one with the fewest negative points at the end. They survived a day full of misfortunes with minimal consequences!

How does it work?
At the start, each player receives the same number of tokens, kept hidden from others. If opponents want to know how many you have, they must carefully observe the table and remember your decisions.
The first player reveals the top card from the deck, showing a misfortune with a specific negative point value. They must decide: place a token on the card to avoid the misfortune or take the card and face the consequences.
If a player spends a token, the dilemma passes to the player on the left. The round continues around the table until someone decides to take the card (the dilemma can return to you multiple times).
When a player takes the card, they also take all tokens on it. Then they reveal the next card and face the same choice: use a token to avoid misfortune or take the new card.
Each card in front of you has a negative point value. You can reduce it by collecting values forming a sequence of consecutive numbers. In such a sequence, only the card with the lowest value counts!
The game ends when someone takes the last card from the table. Players count points and compare results; the winner has the fewest negative points.

Why you’ll love this game?
How many tokens must be on a card to make its negative points easier to swallow? Or maybe what would be a tragedy for someone else will be a positive coincidence for you? This simple card game requires a bit of luck and wise management of limited resources.
Remembering opponents’ token counts is not easy, and 9 random cards are removed from the deck each game. So you can never be sure which misfortune will come your way, and that’s the beauty of the game!
Simple rules and a risk-based mechanism make a perfect combination, providing dynamic and exciting gameplay easily introducing new players, even those who don’t usually play modern board games.
