When night falls over Tokyo, two huge monsters emerge from the dust over destroyed skyscrapers. The duel begins, which will ruin the city and win fans’ hearts! Monsters in Tokyo: Duel is a fireworks-filled duel game for 2 players. You roll dice, trigger effects, beat your opponent, and try to defeat them on two tracks: popularity and panic. Monsters: Choose one of 6 monsters. Each has unique abilities to unlock during dice rolls. Monster choice matters – it affects strategy and encourages replay. Dice: On your turn, roll dice up to three times. Use dice symbols to deal damage, heal, trigger super effects, or gain energy. Power Cards: Spend energy to buy Power Cards. They grant special abilities or strong instant effects, adding variety and combo possibilities. Tug-of-war: Compete fiercely on Fame and Destruction tracks. Pull the marker when you roll three identical symbols and continue pulling for each additional matching symbol. Noise: Buying a card with the Noise icon lets you place Noise tiles on Fame and Destruction tracks to slow your opponent and gain bonuses yourself. Victory: You have 3 different ways to win! Eliminate your opponent, place both Fame and Destruction markers in Key Zones, or bring one marker to the Victory Space. New mechanics: The tug-of-war mechanic on Fame and Destruction tracks distinguishes this game from standard Monsters in Tokyo, and multiple victory conditions add strategy and variety.
