Description

The British Mark V tank (male version) was produced in 1918 at the end of World War I. The tank was equipped with two 57 mm cannons and five machine guns operated by an eight-person crew. The Mark V moved at a dizzying speed of 7.4 km/h and could cover a distance of about 65 km on the road! These types of tanks took part in battles at Homel, Amiens, and the Hindenburg Line on the Western Front.
A museum piece from The Tank Museum in Bovington (UK), marked with number 9199, remains operational to this day. This very specimen with documented combat history served as the prototype for the COBI brick model.
The carefully replicated MARK V (Male) tank model number 9199 consists of 844 COBI construction bricks and measures 23 cm in length. Thanks to the 1:35 modeling scale, the model fits COBI figures and other vehicles released in this size. The tank features a working tracked drive, rotating guns, and opening hatches. Markings and emblems are made from colored bricks and durable prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. The set includes a British officer figure and a plaque with the set name and The Tank Museum logo.
The Mark V is a must-have for history enthusiasts, armored weapon fans, and a beautiful model for a Great War collection. Build history, brick by brick!
