Available operating modes:
ALL METAL – standby mode. In this mode, metal is detected by a stationary coil, and the detector emits a constant signal. There is no need to move the detector side to side. In ALL METAL mode, adjust GND BAL (ground balance), then press GND TRAC several times to eliminate common minerals and ores. The detector signals all detected objects with a medium-tone sound in ALL METAL mode.
DISC, NOTCH, and AUTO-NOTCH – motion modes: In these modes, the detector signals found objects with three different sound pitches. The detector operates with automatic ground balance. Sensitivity can be adjusted as needed, but manual ground balance adjustment is unavailable. To reject unwanted metal objects, use DISC and NOTCH settings. In motion mode, the coil must be continuously moved to detect objects.
