The parking sensor assists in parking and reversing the car. It works on sonar principle – emitting ultrasonic waves which, after reflecting from an obstacle, allow determining the distance between the car and the obstacle. While reversing, the device correctly detects obstacles on the vehicle’s path and warns the driver with sound signals. The LED display shows the distance to the obstacle with accuracy to tenths of a meter. It also has a built-in speaker (buzzer) with the possibility of complete muting via a switch on the housing.
