An avalanche is coming!
Avalanche is an expansion for the Spiel Des Jahres-nominated game K2 by Adam Kałuża.
Shuffle two avalanche tiles instead of two random weather tiles. Avalanche tiles are resolved like other weather cards during acclimatization checks.
Avalanches are resolved from bottom to top. If a player’s climber is at a height where the avalanche passes, they face its effects. If sheltered in a tent, they lose one acclimatization point; if exposed, they lose acclimatization and are moved one space down.
Note: After an avalanche, more climbers may occupy a space than allowed. This is permitted.
