The AD5032 is a multifunctional steam iron with numerous advantages. The iron has 5 functions: horizontal steam ironing generating 45 grams of steam per minute; horizontal steam ironing with a steam shot function up to 80 grams per minute to smooth particularly stubborn wrinkles; dry ironing (without steam); vertical ironing (e.g., curtains, clothes hanging on hangers: jackets, blazers); spray function with a single water shot of 0.5 grams. The iron is equipped with 4 systems: automatic shut-off when left unattended; drip lock system that prevents water droplets from flowing when the soleplate temperature has not yet reached the optimal temperature, stopping water drops instead of steam; anti-scale system reducing mineral deposits from water inside the device; self-cleaning system. Additional advantages include a large water tank allowing less frequent refilling during ironing. The pointed soleplate tip facilitates access to hard-to-reach places, e.g., around buttons, pleats, etc. The ceramic soleplate increases glide – smooth sliding over fabric. The power cord is 1.90 m long. The automatic shut-off function cuts power after 8 minutes of inactivity in a vertical position or 30 seconds in a horizontal position. The device signals activation of the automatic shut-off function with six sound signals.
