The MS5031 is a multifunctional steam iron with numerous advantages. It has 5 functions: horizontal steam ironing generating 40 g of steam per minute; horizontal steam ironing with steam boost up to 70 g per minute for smoothing stubborn wrinkles; dry ironing (without steam); vertical ironing (e.g., curtains, clothes hanging on hangers: jackets, blazers); and a spray function with a single 0.5 g water shot. The iron is equipped with 4 systems: automatic shut-off when left unattended; anti-drip system that prevents water drops when the soleplate temperature is not optimal; anti-scale system reducing mineral deposits from water; and self-cleaning system. Additional advantages include a large water tank allowing less frequent refills during ironing. The pointed soleplate tip facilitates access to hard-to-reach areas such as around buttons and pleats. The ceramic soleplate enhances glide – smooth sliding over fabric. The 1.50m power cord. The automatic shut-off function cuts power after 8 minutes of inactivity in vertical position or 30 seconds in horizontal position. The device signals activation of automatic shut-off with five beeps.
