Head gasket leak tester for measuring CO2 content in the cooling system: The tester is designed to eliminate suspicion of head gasket or cylinder head damage in combustion engine vehicles with gasoline, diesel, or LPG engines cooled by liquid. If the gasket is leaking and CO2 enters the cooling system, the reactive fluid changes color to yellow or green. The device operates by measuring CO2 concentration—when elevated, the reactive fluid reacts with CO2 and changes color. Set includes: 10 ml CO2 reactive fluid (enough for 5 tests), universal conical adapter 25mm-55mm, measuring tube, black measuring adapter (25mm-55mm) allowing testing of six times more different coolant filler neck diameters than testers with a single white adapter. Suitable for passenger cars, trucks, tractors, excavators, motorcycles, forklifts. Adapter made from special rubber blend resistant to high temperatures and sufficiently soft to ensure a tight fit to the filler neck and tester tube, guaranteeing 100% tightness during the test. Test instructions: Fill device with reactive fluid to level between chambers (approx. 2 ml). Connect tester to expansion tank or radiator opening. Start engine, increase RPM to raise combustion pressure. Leave engine at slightly elevated RPM and observe reactive fluid behavior. Color change to yellow or green within minutes indicates damaged head gasket or cylinder head. After testing, carefully remove device. Test results: Color change from blue to green in diesel engine indicates head gasket or cylinder head damage. Color change from blue to yellow in gasoline/LPG engine indicates head gasket or cylinder head damage. Blue reactive fluid means no CO2 detected in system. Safety information: Exercise extra caution when opening radiator cap on a hot engine and during the test—risk of burns! Avoid mixing coolant with reactive fluid during test—may cause incorrect results! Keep out of reach of children and wash hands thoroughly after testing.
