Carefully observe the changing weather, visit the stream and the tulip valley, admire fauna and flora from above by climbing the tower or boarding the balloon, and finally check what lies underground! Meadow: Expedition Book is an expansion to the popular family game that takes us on a fascinating journey from picturesque meadows to a charming cave. During each of the six expeditions on the interactive book-shaped board, players are rewarded for unique perspectives on the natural world. Exploring the Expedition Book provides unique experiences that allow you to expand your meadow in new ways.
What does the expansion introduce?
The expansion includes a book with 6 unique expeditions:
– The Beginning, which lets you start the adventure by actively observing changing weather.
– Bridges enabling crossing the stream dividing the meadow to explore wild nature on both sides.
– Windmills that take you to the tulip valley and allow admiring colorful windmills contrasting with flower fields.
– Balloons you can steer to observe nature (watch the wind direction!).
– Observation tower to climb and observe local fauna and flora with binoculars.
– Cave to enter and discover unknown animals and plants, creating an unforgettable journey finale.
Each book page is a different expedition introducing new elements or changing scoring conditions known from the base game. Expeditions can be played individually or in a trek mode.
What is Meadow?
A board game where players become nature observers. Equipped with a map, they walk through picturesque surroundings, seeking inspiration and capturing breathtaking views. Driven by passion, curiosity, and competition for the title of the best nature observer! The winner is the one who scores the most points from observed animal and plant species, landscapes, and souvenirs collected during the trek. The contest also takes place around the campfire, where players compete to complete their expedition goals.
Note! This is not a standalone game! The base game Meadow is required to play.
