Dune: Secrets of the Family game (retail version)

Dune: Secrets of the House is a cooperative narrative game where you join the resistance fighting the Harkonnen house and explore Chapters of the story set in the Dune universe. Each Chapter is played by resolving a series of Encounters, trying to fulfill specified Objectives. The ability to undertake Encounters is limited by Time, so not all can be experienced. This limit means many story secrets must be deduced by players.

At the end of each Chapter, you must compile a Report consisting of gathered information and proposals for further actions. These Reports influence the overall direction of your story.

There are no winners or losers. Instead, your experiences and decisions create a unique tale!

In Dune: Secrets of the House, players become rebels who must complete challenging missions with limited time and resources. Players make joint decisions affecting story development.

You find yourself in the middle of a conflict between two houses. Every decision affects the story’s course. Where will you go, whom will you ally with, and who will become your enemy? The adventure is yours to shape.

Encounters
Your task as rebellion agents on Arrakis is simple: reveal secrets and uncover history. Gameplay involves resolving Encounters. Reading and resolving each Encounter gradually reveals a unique story full of action and intrigue.

Experience
Spending earned Experience points allows leveling up Characters by placing Skill stickers on appropriate fields on Character and Ally cards. Skills require spending Experience points as indicated on the sticker.
