A smart game that exercises your mind!
Take your brain to the gym and take on the challenge of Cortex! This fast and fun game will strengthen your memory, reflexes, and logical thinking while providing tons of fun!
In Cortex 2, 2 to 6 players compete by quickly guessing answers to 8 types of challenges that develop different brain functions. Correct answers earn puzzle pieces, and the first player to collect all 4 pieces and complete their brain image wins!
Cortex warms up both brain hemispheres and gives a good workout. It’s an excellent family game, perfect for parties, meetings, or travel!
How it works:
– The youngest player flips the top card from the deck, placing it so everyone can read it.
– When a player thinks they know the answer, they immediately cover the card with their hand and shout the answer!
– If correct, they take the card. Collecting 2 cards with the same back allows exchanging them for one of the 4 puzzle pieces.
– If wrong, the card is shuffled back, and the next round starts. The player who erred cannot answer in the next turn!
Eight brand-new challenge types!
– Multitasking: show the number of dots on the indicated hand while saying the number aloud.
– Observation: identify the color of the standout robot.
– Squares: count how many squares fill the empty space.
– Analysis: identify the color of caps forming a row of four.
– Exception: name the shape or color appearing only once among images.
– Combinations: determine which shape fits the missing space in the central image.
– Entrance: identify which entrances lead to the maze center (all must be named).
– Challenge: a special task! The player receives a textured card to touch with closed eyes and must identify the object.
Awards and distinctions for the Cortex series:
The Cortex series won the prestigious Toy of the Year 2017 awarded by Zabawkowicz.pl for the most valuable, smart, and safe toys and games.
It also received a distinction in the 16th edition of the “Child-Friendly World” contest organized by the Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights in 2018.
