A reliable, user-friendly CB radio housed in a standard casing with the option to power the radio with 12V or 24V voltage.

A novelty is the placement of a 5V/2.1A USB port on the front panel in an easily accessible location to facilitate connecting any device.

The radio features functions such as ASC automatic squelch control, quick channel selection via Up/Down switches on the microphone, which is a great advantage of this radio. Multistandard allows adjusting radio parameters to frequencies used in a given country.

An important feature of this radio is the use of filters improving radio usage quality and the VOX function enabling speaking into the microphone without pressing the PTT switch. There is also the possibility to connect a “parrot” – an external speaker – PA function.

Besides AM modulation, commonly used in Poland, the PRESIDENT BARRY2 also supports FM modulation, useful in some European countries where it is the standard or when vehicles travel in a convoy close to each other (25-100 m). At this distance, FM modulation provides better sound quality but does not allow listening to messages from other drivers transmitting in AM modulation.
