Audio signal level converter with control
High-quality 2-channel converter converting speaker signal to RCA line signal – input 2x50W / output 2xRCA, smooth signal level adjustment. Allows connection of an external amplifier to a radio without RCA (CINCH) outputs. Features interference filter and separates DC component. Provides separate smooth output signal adjustment for each channel. REMOTE TURN ON/OFF output – circuit for switching external power amplifier on and off. Designed for radios with power up to 2x50W. 2 RCA outputs (left and right channel)
Connection diagram:
– “L OUTPUT R” – RCA signal outputs for left (L) and right (R) channels connected to amplifier RCA inputs
– “REMOTE” (power and Remote output for amplifier control)
(GROUND) – black wire – power ground (-12V) – connect to radio, amplifier, or vehicle chassis ground
(12V) – yellow wire – power supply (+12V) – connect e.g. to radio or amplifier power wire
(REMOTE OUT) – blue wire – Remote output (+12V) for switching amplifier on/off – connect to amplifier Remote input
– “INPUT” (signal inputs – speaker level)
white wire (L+) – connect to positive (+) left channel speaker output from radio
white-black wire (L-) – connect to negative (-) left channel speaker output from radio
black wire (Ground) – ground – connect to ground to minimize interference
gray wire (R+) – connect to positive (+) right channel speaker output from radio
gray-black wire (R-) – connect to negative (-) right channel speaker output from radio
Installation:
Set potentiometer knobs to minimum.
Connect wires according to connection diagram.
Turn on radio supplying external signal to wires.
Adjust signal level with potentiometers accordingly.
