With COBI construction blocks, you can build a main battle tank from the Warsaw Pact era when Europe was divided by the Iron Curtain! The T-72 M1 tank set includes dual marking sets for East Germany and the USSR. East Germany acquired over 500 tanks of this type from the USSR, Poland, and Czechoslovakia. After German reunification, the tanks were withdrawn from service in the 1990s. The tank entered service in the USSR in 1971. Thanks to numerous modifications, it is still developed in modern Russia.
The block model is excellently reproduced at 1:35 scale using 680 elements. The tank size matches other land vehicles in the Armed Forces collection. For this model, a new block shaped like the tank’s distinctive road wheels was developed. The model includes movable parts such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret, and a movable cannon. The turret hatch opens and can hold the included figure of an East German tank crewman, printed with a characteristic camouflage uniform. The set also includes a nameplate with the model’s name.
