Besides displaying current humidity, it features a thermometer showing room temperature.

The AHS901 aims to minimize droplet-borne microorganism transmission via three methods: sterilizing water and air. Incoming air is UV-irradiated, killing microorganisms. Water is purified by boiling and silver ions. A silver ion cartridge in the water tank inhibits microorganism growth. Heating water to boiling before producing warm mist increases humidification efficiency and eliminates spores, bacteria, and viruses in water.
The LED display shows temperature and humidity. The touch panel allows easy programming. A remote control enables operation without approaching the device. The top-fill 6-liter water tank ensures long operation per refill.
