Description

Concorde is a supersonic passenger jet with turbojet propulsion.
It was the product of a supersonic transport idea realized by French and British companies working in cooperation. First flown in 1969. Seven years later, it entered 27 years of service.
It mostly flew transatlantic routes from London’s Heathrow (British Airways) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (Air France) to JFK in New York and Dulles in Washington. It achieved record speeds, with flights lasting half the time of traditional planes. Due to high production and operating costs, only 20 units were made. The last Concorde flight was on November 26, 2003.
The COBI construction block model depicts the Concorde G-BBDG supersonic passenger jet. It was a test model in British Airways colors. It flew test flights for several years but never entered service. Later, it was used as a spare parts base for regularly flying planes. Since 2003, the plane has been exhibited at the Brooklands Museum (Weybridge).
The block model of the Concorde plane is precisely replicated using 455 parts. High-quality prints and stickers do not wear off even with intensive play. The plane features retractable landing gear. When wheels are extended, they can be rotated. The rudder is also movable.
The model looks great and will surely meet the expectations of aviation enthusiasts, collectors, and children.
Product under the original Brooklands Museum license.
