The MCE448 solar LED lamp is perfect for warm evenings in the garden, gazebo, or even indoors. Thanks to the option to replace batteries with AA batteries, it can also operate on cloudy days. The product features a switch to select one of two operating modes or turn off power. The solar panel includes a built-in dusk sensor that activates the device at night. Operation: the lamp attracts insects using safe violet LED/UV light, then the mesh surrounding the light source electrocutes them. On cloudy days when the lamp is insufficiently charged, you can replace the batteries with a set of batteries or charged AA (LR06) batteries. The lamp can be mounted in three ways: hung on a hook, stuck into the ground or pot using the included spike, or simply placed on a table. The lamp’s light source is powered by batteries charged during the day by the built-in solar cell (panel), which converts sunlight into electrical energy stored in the batteries.
