Parking sensor is a device that assists in parking and reversing a car. It operates on sonar principle—emitting ultrasonic waves that, after reflecting from an obstacle, allow determining the distance between the car and the obstacle. While reversing, the device correctly detects obstacles on the vehicle’s path and warns the driver with sound signals (appropriate to the distance from the obstacle) or via the LED display.
