A parking sensor is a device that assists in parking and reversing a car. It operates on sonar principles – emitting ultrasonic waves that, after reflecting off an obstacle, allow determining the distance between the car and the obstacle. While reversing, the device correctly recognizes obstacles on the vehicle’s path and warns the driver with sound signals. New sensors are mounted on the inner side of the bumper and do not protrude beyond its outline. Their small size makes them look very attractive. Sensors can be painted; it is recommended to apply a maximum of two thin, even layers of paint. The MAX-LED display features a modern design; the upper part of the housing is coated with a glossy black finish (piano black). It indicates the distance to the obstacle with an accuracy of tenths of a meter. The built-in speaker (buzzer) warning of obstacles has 3 volume modes (high, low, muted).
