What is an inhaler?
The anatomy of the respiratory system discriminates against delivering substances with a diameter exceeding 5 µm (micrometers, or microns). Inhalations using particles larger than this are indicated only when targeting the nasal cavity, larynx, or trachea. Reaching the nasal sinuses, bronchial tree, or pulmonary alveoli is possible only with very fine molecule sizes. Applications:
Respiratory therapy using saline solution or medications in a form suitable for nebulization, prescribed by a doctor. Supports colds. We recommend starting every cold with saline nebulization, which moisturizes and helps clear mucous membranes and assists in cough expectoration. Such nebulization, e.g., before sleep, helps your child sleep peacefully, unbothered by nasal congestion or persistent cough.
Importantly, the medication administered during nebulization acts locally, reaching exactly where it should without burdening the child’s delicate stomach. Previously, nebulizers were available only in hospitals or could be rented from clinics—today you can have this practical device at home and use it as soon as you notice the first cold symptoms. It is ideal for home therapy for children and adults.
