The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring is an engaging cooperative card game based on trick-taking. In 18 chapters, it presents the first part of Tolkien’s classic novel.
During the journey, players must make careful decisions to avoid dangers and progress from leaving the Shire to the fateful breaking of the Fellowship. The game includes various modes and many playable characters like Gandalf, Tom Bombadil, and Galadriel.

How does it work?
Players hold cards representing Middle-earth and the influence of the One Ring. Skillful play cooperates to achieve all characters’ goals and win.
Each deck deal is a round consisting of a series of tricks. A trick is made of cards played by each player.
The starting player plays any card; its color becomes trump (hills, mountains, forests, shadows, or rings).
Other players must follow the trump color if possible; otherwise, they may play any card.
After all play one card, the highest trump card wins the trick. The winner takes the cards and leads the next trick.
The round ends when all cards are played (except Gandalf, who keeps one). If all players meet their character goals, they win, finish the chapter, and proceed. If any fail, all lose and may replay the round.
