Firefighters drive fantastic vehicles and put out fires – everyone knows that! But when they’re not doing that, they’re not just lounging around – they have many other tasks! They help people during floods or road accidents, organize search operations when someone is missing (for example, in forests, mountains, or under rubble), and provide professional first aid. Besides, they constantly train to stay in good shape – they are really very busy!

In the “Interesting” series, we present professions that children dream about! We show how interesting, difficult, fascinating, and sometimes dangerous tasks are performed by women and men working in these professions. We pay special attention to gender equality – so as not to exclude any reader. Because everyone, regardless of gender, has the right to dream the same dreams about their future.
