Glory to the Clans. Meetings in Kilts
Scotland, long, long ago. Mist rises over the Caledonian Mountains. A single sunbeam breaks through dense clouds, illuminating the legendary clan meeting place. Free mountain people have come from distant lands to look into the future. After taking seats according to ancient tradition, clan chiefs begin recruiting the best candidates among those gathered to join the clan.
As a clan chief, you will try to recruit as many new members as possible by wisely playing cards to score the highest points. When it’s your turn, you must always place one card at the meeting place. You can also decide to place one of your shields on a shield field to gain favor with potential supporters.
You must make thoughtful decisions: when is the best time to use a shield? How to turn everything to your advantage with one card? Players add character cards to table tiles so they neighbor other cards by color or value. Cards can also be placed opposite each other. Then players decide whether to mark a table with their shield.
After seating is complete, points are tallied. The player with the most points wins.
