Evenfall is a strategic game where players lead powerful witch clans in turbulent times of upheaval and conflict. Gameplay is based on efficient card management to best utilize their synergies. Using both popular and innovative mechanisms, it offers satisfying gameplay that deepens as you explore internal synergies.
How does it work?
Evenfall gameplay lasts three rounds, each with four phases.
– In the scouting phase, players collect resources, mana, and cards as indicated by their clan boards.
– In the action phase, players take turns clockwise. In a single turn, a player performs one main action and any number of free actions.
– Actions include acquiring new power places, activating action fields by sending witches and sages, and activating clan tokens to collect resources.
– The heart of the game is the cards in hand. Rituals and specialists have resource costs but offer powerful effects when played. Skillfully playing and combining them grants bonuses during the game and victory points at the end.
– When all players pass, the action phase ends, and the battle phase begins, where competition for trophies and magical stones occurs in each region.
– In the final phase, players prepare for the next round or, in round three, for final scoring.
