The LOCKHEED F-22 Raptor is an advanced fifth-generation multirole fighter. This still somewhat secretive and tightly guarded aircraft was adopted by the United States Air Force and is under a total export ban to other countries! Thanks to a licensing agreement, COBI can produce the already legendary Raptor!
The high-quality block model is designed at 1:48 scale, matching the rest of the Armed Forces collection featuring modern military equipment.
The aircraft consists of 695 elements, including prints. For this set, we developed entirely new characteristic F-22 parts such as the nose with cockpit and vertical stabilizers. The model is excellently finished and smooth, just like its real STEALTH counterpart. The set includes an opening cockpit where you can place a detailed pilot figure wearing an oxygen mask. The landing gear can be easily removed to better display the model on the included display stand, which also features a nameplate with the aircraft’s name and the USA flag. Inside the opening hatch are block bombs. This detailed block model of the aviation legend is a real treat for collectors and military technology and block modeling enthusiasts. Thanks to the use of high-quality ABS and lightweight construction, our model has stealth technology features and is radar-undetectable. However, do not test this at home!
The LOCKHEED F-22 Raptor is a very advanced fifth (latest) generation fighter in service with the United States Air Force. Work on it began in the 1980s. It was built by the American corporation Lockheed Martin. The first flight took place in 1997, and it was officially adopted in 2005. The F-22 features advanced technologies that provide excellent maneuverability, radar invisibility, and the ability to conduct both air and ground operations. Its main task is air superiority. One key feature is “supercruise” – the ability to maintain supersonic speed without afterburners. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with advanced avionics, the AN/APG-77 radar, and a unique radar masking system, making it difficult to detect by enemies.
