Cthulhu: Death May Die: Yog-Sothoth (Polish edition)

Yog Sothoth is not interested in destruction or conquest. He is all-knowing. And although knowledge itself is not dangerous, its application certainly is.

Cultists seeking Yog Sothoth’s knowledge do so not for enlightenment but to fulfill their wicked plans. Therefore, their bond with Yog Sothoth must be broken!

The Cthulhu: Death May Die – Yog-Sothoth expansion introduces a new Ancient One to the Cthulhu: Death May Die game. Players can combine it with any scenario from the base game. Yog-Sothoth enhances gameplay by adding extra Gates on the board that copy normal Gates’ effects, increasing the power of the next Monster summoning.

One way to add a Gate is by using the unstoppable special Yog Sothoth Monster, Wilbur Whateley, who upon death adds a Gate to the board and is shortly re-summoned at full strength. But this does not mean Investigators are hopeless; Gates can be attacked and destroyed, dealing damage to Monsters on their space, which can be used to effectively stem the tide of abominations.

The box contains: 1 Yog-Sothoth figure, 1 Wilbur Whateley figure, 4 Ancient One cards, 1 Monster card, 8 Mythos cards.

Cthulhu: Death May Die is a highly thematic cooperative scenario game for 1 to 5 players based on H.P. Lovecraft’s literature. Players take on Investigators with unique skills and types of Insanity, battling Cultists and Monsters to ultimately face the Ancient One.

Over time, they descend further into madness, which strengthens their abilities but inevitably brings them closer to death.
